WSP is currently initiating a search for a  Bridge Inspection Engineer for our Worcester, MA office.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Review previous bridge inspection reports and assist in the planning of field operations.
  • Perform inspection work and compile reports.
  • Receive directions from Project Managaer and other senior staff.
  • Technical compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in bridge inspection or design or other bridge related work.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of performing continuous field work including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
  • ]Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AutoCAD/Microstation Capabillities
  • Microsoft Office Capabilities
