We are seeking an OFFICE ENGINEER to join our Construction Services Group in our Antioch, Californaia office.  Actual reporting site will be throughout the SF Bay Area depending on client needs.
 
The Office Engineer will assist the Resident Engineer in all aspects of required office construction engineering work, e.g. setting up and maintaining project files and processing required documents and progress payments as necessary.  
 
Job Duties:
  • Provide limited office management of a construction Management project
  • Review and update schedules and record drawings
  • Keep logs of contract documents
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Process contractor pay estimates
  • Upload documents to project's Primavera Expedition site
  • Review certified payroll
  • Perform other duties assigned
  • Tasks performed are of moderate complexity using professional engineering judgement.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BSCE degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a directly-related field.  
  • A minimum of 5 years of Office Engineering experience, including projects involving Bridges and/or Rail
  • Valid California Driver's license
  • Experience with Office Engineering duties on large construction projects
  • Experience with Labor Compliance and verification of Certified Payrolls
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening
Preferred Qualifications
  • Transit/Rail Office Engineering experience
