This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Project Manager for our Atlanta or Raleigh office. Be involved in projects with our Advanced Manufacturing Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges! The PM provides personal leadership to the project team and is accountable for technical success, financial success, schedule compliance and client satisfaction. 

Your Impact

Project Pursuit/proposal development 
•    Marketing and client relations
•    Respond to RFP
•    Validate scope/schedule
•    Develop fee
•    Opportunity sign-off sheets

Project work planning
•    Plan work flow and communicate work plan with project team
•    Opening project numbers
•    Determine deliverables
•    Lead production of deliverables over scheduled time
•    Develop and implement QC method (via ISO – validate ISO documentation)
•    Identify potential risks
•    Identify and manage additional services in the work plan
•    Project closeout – Project sheet/qualifications

Resource Management
•    Staff the team and monitor staffing fluctuations  - coordinate with the office resource responsible for this task
•    Schedule and conduct Internal Coordination Meetings (ICM’s) 
•    Determine and communicate expected effort by phase/discipline with the project team
•    Monitor effort throughout the project
•    Monitor project risks

Schedule Management
•    Coordinate deliverables per issue with client
•    Monitor incoming deliverables for production
•    Develop communication strategy for issues/deliverables

Client interface
•    Facilitate coordination with the project team
•    Determine client goals/expectations for the projects
•    Establish communication protocols for the team 
•    Develop contact list for the project

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of experience across all disciplines to delivery Industrial Developments 
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect
  • Integrative Project Management experience across a wide range of disciplines
  • Understanding Industrial Processes in the Advanced Manufacturing Space
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)   
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
