Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building physics, AVA, microclimate study, sustainable building design, fire engineering projects.
• Evaluate the designs by applying appropriate CFD analysis tools, and other calculations/evaluation methods.
• Provide technical advice to design team and relevant parties.
• Liaise with clients, design consultants, contractors, authorities, etc.

Requirements:

• MPhil Degree in Mechanical, Building Environment, Renewable Energy and Architecture, Building Services and Energy Engineering, Civil Wind Engineering, or related discipline. Possessing PhD degree is advantageous.
• Solid theoretical foundation in fluid mechanics and skill on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and analysis experience with relevant simulation tools.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering and research experience in Building Physics, Air Ventilation Assessment (AVA), Microclimate Study, Fire Engineering Study, etc.
• A good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Self-motivated and hardworking and able to work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in engineering consulting work will be advantageous.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Consultant.
