About the Role:
We are seeking an Azure Architect to join our Federal Cloud Operations team. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting a CMMC compliant Azure enclave for an architecture and engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help architect changes to Azure environment to meet operational and compliance needs
- Control cloud expenditure and carry out cost-saving projects
- Manage business relationships with stakeholders in other functions
- Advocate for business objectives, users, and operational efficiency while balancing legal and compliance requirements
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to cloud engineers and operations support team
- Develop and maintain compliant procedures
- Assist administrators with work as needed
- Implement CMMC requirements, based on NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-172
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years relevant and practical experience performing network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or commensurate experience designing and implementing Azure solutions
- Implementation experience with NIST 800-171 security framework or similar
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and execute a solution roadmap
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience configuring Azure US Government tenant and GCC High environment, including SharePoint
- Proven Leadership Experience
- Implementation of CMMC
- Knowledge of application management and deployment
- ManageEngine Administration
- Experience with federal defense contracts
- CISSP or commensurate experience
- Knowledge of Bentley and AutoCAD products
