About the Role:

We are seeking an Azure Architect to join our Federal Cloud Operations team. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting a CMMC compliant Azure enclave for an architecture and engineering firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help architect changes to Azure environment to meet operational and compliance needs
• Control cloud expenditure and carry out cost-saving projects
• Manage business relationships with stakeholders in other functions
• Advocate for business objectives, users, and operational efficiency while balancing legal and compliance requirements
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to cloud engineers and operations support team
• Develop and maintain compliant procedures
• Assist administrators with work as needed
• Implement CMMC requirements, based on NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-172

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years relevant and practical experience performing network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or commensurate experience designing and implementing Azure solutions
• Implementation experience with NIST 800-171 security framework or similar
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and execute a solution roadmap
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience configuring Azure US Government tenant and GCC High environment, including SharePoint
• Proven Leadership Experience
• Implementation of CMMC
• Knowledge of application management and deployment
• ManageEngine Administration
• Experience with federal defense contracts
• CISSP or commensurate experience
• Knowledge of Bentley and AutoCAD products
