Your Impact

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·       Assist and support our client PM on managing of roadway design projects.

    ·       Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications;

    ·       Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design;

    ·       Coordinating with other design consultants.

    ·       Develop memorandums and other written technical documents

    ·       Assist\review plans, specifications, and bid packages;

    ·       Support projects by attending meetings and interacting with agency officials, and contractors 

    ·       Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

    ·       Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    ·       Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related degree.

    ·       3+ years of professional experience post graduation. (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)

    ·       Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills

    ·       Proficiency in (Bentley OpenRoad Designer).

    ·       Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

    ·       Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ·       Experience working in CDOT projects

    ·       Professional Engineer (PE) License for the state of Illinois or ability to obtain in 6 months.

    ·       Experience using ArcGIS

    ·       Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
    • Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
