This Opportunity
WSP is seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer for our Central New England Operations working out of our Chelmsford, MA office. The work will involve engineering design, preparing feasibility studies, and construction support completed under the guidance of senior staff. WSP’s New England Operations is a multi-disciplinary science/engineering team of 250+ staff that offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects for a wide range of clients throughout the US. Take part in providing local technical assistance for the design, development, and construction of renewable energy projects in the public and private sector. Tasks may include basic assistance with the research, design, concept development, and construction of solar arrays. Generate accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned project.

Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-1 years of engineering/consulting experience with a focus on civil site design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites
- Anticipated travel expected to be less than 10% overnight travel; however, extended travel up to two weeks is possible
- Adaptability and willingness to adjust to client needs
- Must pass physical, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy

Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Civil Engineering
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification
- Familiarity with discipline-specific design software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HydroCAD).
