This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Early Career Environmental Scientist/ Geologist for our Tampa, FL office. Be involved in projects with our Site Investigation & Remediation Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. 

Your Impact

  • Complete training on assigned tasks.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology or a related degree.
  • 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.
  • Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
  • The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER
  • First Aid, CPR, AED
  • OSHA - 30 Hour Construction
  • Florida Phosphate Mine Training Certificate
  • Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Certificate
  • Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training
