This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Delivery Associate for our New York - One Penn Plaza office.  The following locations will also be considered: Valhalla, Troy, Buffalo, New York; Glastonbury, CT; Boston, Worcester, MA; Merrimack, NH. 

Be involved in projects with our Infrastructure and Operations Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. 

Your Impact

  • The successful candidate will be conversant in financial terms and metrics and have experience of reviewing these and identify potential concerns and items for Business Management Leaders to focus on. 
  • Candidate will take part in training our PMs with tools to successfully manage profitable projects, while providing quality deliverables to clients. 
  • A good communicator who can be proactive with PMs in all phases of Project Delivery life cycle from proposals to project close out. 
  • Leads in developing work plans for addressing technical issues within project time and budget.
  • Provides leadership in technical and professional activities on projects.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3+ years of relevant post education experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of Programs
  • Experience working on projects with responsibility for cost and schedule control and reporting internally within the company
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in risk identification and mitigation skills.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Compensation:

Expected Salary: $56,400- $93,060
