WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Early Career Civil Engineer for our Boston, MA office. The following location will also be considered: Worcester, MA. Be involved in projects with our New England Civil Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.
- Support a variety of engineering tasks on federal, state, regional, and local transportation improvement and development projects with a goal to develop technical and communications skills.
- Learn basic and advanced principles of Roadway Engineering, including roadway design programs, construction plan production, and 3D modeling and design.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related degree.
- 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
- Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
- The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or May 2024 graduate of an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate program.
- The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of internship experience in Civil Engineering.
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
