WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Senior Proposal & Marketing Consultant in any US location where we have an office.  A few of many possibilities include Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco, Denver, Phoenix, Seattle, Nashville, Fairfax and DC to name just a few. Be involved in projects with our award-winning Strategic Growth Team (SGT) -  a multi-faceted and industry-best marketing, sales and communications organization in support of our Earth & Environment business across the US. 

Senior Proposal & Marketing Consultants at WSP lead complex pursuits and proposals across the US in seven market sectors including state/local government, energy, water, industrial/commercial, oil/gas, federal and mining.

Your Impact

  • Leads complex proposals with general guidance, including scheduling and conducting project kick-off meetings and strategy sessions for a winning proposal
  • Researches, gathers and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information.
  • Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP 
  • Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings
  • Collaborates with technical staff to write original content and reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messages
  • Collaborates with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given
    pursuit
  • Organizes and coaches technical staff in presentation phase of a pursuit
  • Supports client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client engagement team meetings
  • May coordinate district communications activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project awards and other special communications-related projects

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years’ experience in the AEC industry in the same capacity
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in advanced marketing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
  • Possesses a strategic mindset
  • Excellent organizational and editorial skills along with liaison capabilities and knowledge of business development procedures is required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse and disparate teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing standard and complex proposals from onset to conclusion with general guidance

Compensation


Expected Salary (all locations): $85,500 - $112,000


WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $80,500 - $110,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
