Your Impact

  • Serve as a resource for the delivery of structured cabling systems, audio/visual and electronic security systems design.
  • Work with other design team members to deliver projects from concept design through construction administration. 
  • Responsible for oversight of the entire design process for select projects, and/or assisting as a technical expert on a specialized project components.  
  • The candidate will be working on several concurrent projects while maintaining proper quality standards on all deliverables and adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience designing structured cabling systems infrastructure, audio visual, and electronic security systems.
  • Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution (RCDD) certification.
  • Proficient designing using Autodesk Revit (starting, linking and setting up models, navigating views, 3D plans, trouble shooting, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
  • Create and perform quality control of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a US Secret security clearance.  
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active US Secret Security clearance.
  • AVIXA CTS certification.
  • ASIS PSP or CPP certification.
  • Prior experience from A/E industry.
  • Federal government design experience.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $114,200 - $ 193,380

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $122,000 - $181,500

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
