WSP is currently initiating a search for a ZEB Planning and Design Project Manager for our Seattle, WA, or any mutually agreed upon office. 

Your Impact

  • Develop, support, and manage zero-emission (and bus rapid transit) planning and design projects
  • Vehicle and operational data management
  • Grant application and supporting documents
  • Vehicle system performance calculations, vehicle specifications, and performance-based specifications for zero-emission vehicles.
  • Coordination with a variety of design, planning, architectural, and other related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of national, state, and local transit policies and plans is strongly preferred.
  • Help develop rough order of magnitude (ROM) vehicle capital and operating cost estimates.
  • Provide support during procurement and construction activities.    
  • Attend meetings with clients, city and state agencies, utility service representatives, and project teams.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years experience in transit projects, grant applications, or facilities planning.
  • Service as project manager or deputy project manager on transit projects 
  • Bachelor's degree in transportation or urban planning or engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in transit system planning and operations
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with zero-emission and BRT technology trends
  • 12 years experience in transit projects, grant applications, or facilities planning.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $92,500 - $160,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
